No I think you’re right this time @Hostafan1 😉 ive just been out into the teeth of a hurricane 😂 to have a look at mine which I’m pretty sure is H. argutifolius sorry, not a great pic ... the wind kept blowing it about.
I agree it's a H. foetidus. In my previous garden I found them to be fairly short-lived perennials (perhaps about 3 or 4 years) but they self-seeded quite easily so they were always present.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
