Plant I.D

Can anyone identify these plants please?  This plant is in flower now and seen in many gardens here. The first plant had just a few red berries, I imagine the birds had eaten most of them.

    Number 1 looks like Aucuba japonica 'Rozannie' .
    Number 2 looks like Polygala x dalmaisiana ; the Sweet-Pea Bush .
  • Thanks Paul, I think the flowers on no. 2 do look like sweet peas.  These Polygala x dalmaisiana grow very well here.
