Rose pruning?

Hello all,

I have several new roses - 4 shrub and 2 ramblers all planted last April and I'm confused about pruning. The advice with them is prune in Feb/March but everyone I follow on Instagram seems to have done them ages ago! All but the ramblers are still in leaf too.

I only had one rose before - a cheap Tesco one which I used to just prune when I thought seemed best but I don't want to damage my David Austin's as they were quite expensive!

I normally do mine in March, but in a mild year like this one you can do it earlier.  Although ramblers should not be pruned now, because they flower on wood produced last year, so if you prune now you will lose this years flowers.
