Darmera Peltata

Hi everybody, I've lurked for a long time in this forum but finally making a post. Has anybody here got experience with Darmera peltata and know when I can expect leaves to emerge? I understand the flowers emerge first in spring but would like to know when in the year it tends to leaf out?

    Welcome to the forums and making your first post!

    Nearer 3rd week in May on West coast of Scotland.
    It loves wet,boggy ground. Can get to form huge patches when happy.
    Perthshire. SCOTLAND .

    I'm down on the south east coast so I imagine mine will burst into life slightly earlier then. Thank you. I planted it in autumn in a damp and partially shady spot but plan on giving it plenty of supplemental water whilst it establishes. Hopefully it'll be happy and gives me some nice big leaves! I don't have room for gunnera so this is my alternative haha!
