Yellow Fumitory

My garden is overrun each year by Yellow Fumitory (Corydalis lutea). Although it is pretty and has a nice scent, it even crowded out the ground cover Phlox that I put in. I don't really want to use weed killer. Is laborious hand weeding the only solution?

I find regular application of a Dutch hoe controls it and other weedlings/seedlings in the wrong place ... no pollution and no backache either. ๐Ÿ˜Šย

  • The trouble with hoeing is the expanse of snowdrops which will be shredded. Ho Hum!

Ah well, itโ€™ll have to be handweeding while the snowdrops are small enough to be vulnerable then hoeing between them after that. Good luck ๐Ÿ˜Šย
