Alliums

Can not wait to see these again, although for the rest of the year the front garden looks empty, ideas what to plant between that fill the gaps and seasons

Catmint would look nice there, or something else low , spreading but not too shrubby. Maybe helianthemum, thymes , vinca?
    Devon.

I were thinking nepeta as well. Geraniums are ideal Dragon heart one of my favourite ( magenta ) Ann folkland another magenta with a lowish creeping habit . Heuchera - Salvia -maybe agapanthus depending on conditions - Astantia would look great . They plenty of the small front border perennials to go at really . I would decide on what colours you want and pick one or two variety's so it flows well around the bend.  I would probably go with nepeta with salvia nemorosa Carradonna or Astantia shaggy / roma  with salvia Carrodonna / Verticillata purple rain its up to you though
  • Thank you both for your advice, I will add photos later on in the year.

You could alternate the alliums with gladioli.  I have had good results with bags from Lidl, always pick out the ones with the largest corms.
