Fuchsias

Hi
I’m just about to send off for plants for this year’s hanging baskets. Does anyone know if the giant fuchsias trail enough for a basket and they can withstand drought.

There are trailing fuchsias for baskets, others are uprights, they won’t stand being dry at all, they don’t like hot sun on them either. 
They like their roots cool so no black pots which absorb heat.
