Cut ros

recently got some of the nicest cut roses I’ve ever seen 
they have lasted well at 10 days in the vase now and still looking good
Ive noticed a few side shoots are forming on the stems and some with small leaves 
I’m keen to see if they will take with roots .should I cut just below the new growth and put them into sand

    @jackp Just bumping up your thread to see if anyone can help you. I think because the heading of your thread didn't appear to be complete it has been overlooked.
