Day Lilly Stella De Ore height

Just a quick question
A friend of mine brought some Day Lilly Stella De Ore in 2 litre pots in August. They have planted them out to the front of their boarder based on them being a dwarf variety growing no more that 30cms
However, in my experience, I have seen them grow twice that height once matured.
Could anyone who grows this particular Day Lilly confirm what its average height is normally once its has matured
Thank You

Having grown a clump of this for many years , mine has never attained more than about 30cms !
It is possible a greater dimension would be obtained in a rich and wet soil ; mine grows in a free-draining loam which  helps to minimise growth .

    Thanks for the reply
In my experience, most Day lilies will grow in most average soil conditions as long as not too dry. However, good quality, fertile soil will increase size and height
I have seen this particular one grow at least 2 feet, although I don’t have this Day Lilly in my own garden
it will be interesting to see what others consider it’s eventual height based on it being a dwarf species

Fairly informative page above ; conditions apply in the US as in the UK .

They definitely grow bigger here. I'd say at least two feet - probably more.

It's a commonly sold one in local GCs, so many gardens round here have it.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I'm wondering if the taller day lilly is not a Stella d'ore. Might it be Hemerocallis Esculenta which grow much taller?

This my experience. I’ve only seen it grown in other garden as I do not have Stella de Ore in mine.
it seems to have an average growth of 50cm in height, from what I have seen,  so still a dwarf compared to other Day Lilly’s.
