Little Rowan tree

My oh just came home with a baby Rowan tree, his work were giving them out ! Hopefully we'll be able to nurture it and see it flourish 🌿

    What a lovely freebie,  get him in the ground as soon as you can.
    They don’t need much, they grow wild on the moors amongst stone and rocks. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Absolutely. Pop it in, stand back, and admire  :)

    I think all mine have been freebies -mainly from the birds  ;)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I did buy my latest one, £1.79 from morrisons. Tiny little thing now about 8’

    I love them @Lyn. They battle every kind of condition in order to grow.
    I see them on hills growing out of the top of rock, and right in at the edges of burns where they regularly get flooded :)
    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
