I'd remove that email address if I was you before the 1 hour edit is up.

No idea what the second post is about, but do you mean geraniums, or do you mean pelargoniums?

Click on the Gardeners' World.com logo at the top left to go to the main site then click on 'My Account' and choose 'Settings'.  You will see a box called 'Screen name' which you can edit.  You may need to signout and then signin again.  To get back here, click the 'Forums' button.

I can only say that I have had success by keeping my geraniums (some insist on calling them pelargoniums)  indoors over Winter and taking cuttings in early Spring. I am sure that you know the difference.

If you have kept them going, then don't give them too much water over Winter and don't trim the leaves. Well done with your cuttings.

I hope you can manage to change your username - you don't want to be getting a flurry of dodgy emails  :/
I replied to your PM but @BobTheGardener has given more instructions.
The reason I asked which cuttings you have is because you wouldn't want to plant out pelargoniums at this time of year. They're not hardy apart from in a few sheltered places in the UK,and I'm assuming you are in the UK of course, but let us know if you aren't  :)
Even hardy geraniums would need to be a reasonable size to plant out  :)

It's great when a poster can point someone in the right direction Fairygirl despite all the PM's and posts that must come your way, as you always take the time to do 🙂. You spend so much time here helping everyone from morning to night. My Googling would be exhausted. Well done.

I'm not sure what you mean about Googling @Purplerain, as I don't use it much. :)
As far as the forum here is concerned, I sometimes use it to check I've spelt something correctly, to avoid any confusion, but apart from that, it's to look for places to peruse/buy plants [ if I want a specific one] or where I can get music and walking gear.  ;)

It looks like @[email protected]has disappeared into the ether though.....

  • @Fairygirl Past the point of edit? I'm afraid the email has tagged onto your post. :(

B****r.  I've sent a report to the mods asking if they can remove the email address. Ironic when I suggested changing the name to begin with!  D'oh  :#

Apologies to HappyMe. I should just have said 'the OP' in that post. Brain not engaging.  :(
