Today I planted my tulip bulbs for Spring next year.
I wonder which varieties did you choose. Here is my little collection:

Posts

  • We've put in today:
    Allium Violet Beauty
    Allium Multibulbosum Nigrum
    Narcissus Ice King

And coming next all the tulips
    A mix of
    Tulip Hermitage
    Tulip Margarita
    Tulip Purple Doll
    Tulip Amazing Grace
Front planted with some Muscari Aucheri White Magic.

But that would be the weekend after as we run out of time 😉 always takes much longer than you think when you have nearly a thousand bulbs.

I've kept it more simple this year for impact rather than mixing it up too much as I've done before.

60 each of Jimmy and Queen of Night spread over 5 pots.
  • I mixed them with other bulbs. Not all planted as it has been raining non stop.

I've planted Jan Reus, Orange Emperor and Purple Flag. I've also planted 15 'free' mixed lily tulips and have had 15 more delivered this morning,  I'm hoping Ballerina, Pink Parrot, Black Parrot and some lovely white lily tulips will reappear in the garden.

    Honeymoon
    White Valley

I ran into 50% discount on bulbs stock at GC yesterday. So I purchased:

Tulip "Queen of the night" 2X
    Tulip "Carnaval de Nice" 2X
    Crown Imperial "Aurora" 3X
