Banana plants - frost

We have two lovely banana plants in our back garden that are susceptible to frost - what is the best to protect them from frost damage this year? They’re about 6ft each.

All sorts of options. You could make a frame and stuff it with straw, or you can dig them up  and store dry over the winter. You can remove the foliage, and most of the roots and store them in a garage, cellar, attic , anywhere frost free.

Thanks for the feedback. Option 1 sounds more viable at this stage.
