Dahlias

I think this may have been asked before, if so, I apologise...

I've dug up many of my dahlias, and am not sure I'm going to want to plant them all next year. Can I keep them dry and dormant for more than a season? Or will they just rot, or otherwise give up the ghost?

They will start to grow and then will die unless planted.

Have you any friends or neighbours who might like them @Janie B?

Otherwise, @Hostafan1's idea is a great one.

Thanks! I’ll plant them up next spring, and can offload them once I’ve decided which ones I want!
