I have some large fuchsias in containers . They are supposed to be hardy, but I'm going to put them in an unheated porch anyway. They've got a bit leggy from weaving in and out of other patio plants.
I would like to prune them quite hard, to save a bit of limited space as much as anything else.
Would this be ok?

As you’re  bringing them inside you can prune them but I wouldn't prune hard until the Spring after the new shoots start to grow, then you can take them right down to the bottom shoots if you want too.
I've just cut mine down to about 6” .

6" will be fine for me. Thanks @Lyn
