ID please. House plant

Hi all
I bought this, as a cutting from a garden centre, with the indoor plants. It wasn't labelled. Does anyone know what it is? It's just got tall. Do I need to cut to encourage side growth? How do I care for it? Thanks

    Looks like it might be a dracaena of some kind.
    Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people
