Can anyone identify this plant please? It appears to be growing out of an old tree stump in our garden. It has never flowered and is deciduous. Looks a bit like a hydrangea leaf but isn't. Thanks in advance.
Thanks both for your suggestions - I think we'll just leave it to grow for a while and see what happens, but AnniD think you could be right as the stump is pretty large!
