Hi all, is it too late to late rosemary cuttings ? I was going to take some put them in a propagator with bottom heat and see how they go. Would it be a total waste of time
I don't think it's a waste of time, but I wouldn't bother with the heat. If they get going, it might be tricky keeping them going all through winter, as you'd possibly have to keep them heated, which might be a bit hit and miss. I might be very wrong about that though! A lot of people root them in water, and that might be a better, or simpler, way of doing it. Again, you'd need to keep them sheltered over winter. Might be easier just to wait til next year I think there's a thread somewhere about rooting cuttings in water - I'll see if I can find it. They're easy from seed too, but that would be spring into summer for sowing, to get a good result.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
