    My first thought was Trooping Crumble Caps (aka Coprinus disseminatus) but I could be wrong.
    Apophthegm -  a big word for a small thought.
    If you live in Derbyshire, as I do.

    We had something similar in our garden during the past few days @Palustris , again no name so would be interested to know what they are called too.
