End of season bargains?

I've seen a lot of offers from companies like Thompson and Morgan, Crocus, and others offering sale plants and was tempted by some winter clematis, then when I thought about it two 7cm potted plants for £10 plus £5 postage didn't seem that great a deal. Has anyone had a decent deal online? None of the local nurseries have much on offer because they seem to plan more carefully due to margins.

    7cm pots are really tiny, so those plants would struggle to survive in my experience. I prefer to pay a bit more for decent sized plants.

    I’ve been raiding Wyevale for the last few weeks.  Many plants reduced to between £1 and £3.  Some shrubs down to £5.

    I’ve had some sedum, phlox, ajuga all at knockdown prices.  Had a nice Stokesia today.  Reduced from £16 to £3
