If a cactus starts to lean is it bad news?

Not sure whether I should be concerned. But my cactus had started to lean. I’m not sure whether it’s from lack of water or not enough sunlight, although it did get a lot of natural sunlight this summer.

I have several small ones in our glass porch, and I have to rotate them regularly.  I would give it a half turn every few weeks.

Nothing wrong with a bit of a bend in the shaft.

Yes as others have said definitely a must do to turn the pots every once in a while to keep the plant growing upright. I have two san pedro cacti growing in containers on a windowsill which faces west and have to rotate the pots fairly regularly or they start to bend.

That’s the thing though I do rotate, unless it’s had a quick growth spurt towards the light. Thanks for the advice! I’ll just keep an eye on it in the coming weeks

It could be rotting from the base, perhaps the roots have been attacked/weakened so are no longer capable of anchoring the weight of the plant into the pot. Are you over watering @harpreetb2303

I don’t think so, I make sure to only water around once every two weeks and less so in the winter. But I will give it a look over and possibly find a bigger pot.
