Using banna peels for fertilizer

Posts

  • I just rercently read about a youtuber claiming drinking her dog's urine every day made her so happy.
Yesterday I heard about the new fad the sheep are flocking towards - celery drinks.
Without any medical evidence or interest in your health.

All these youtubers want is to come up with the next out there advice so that they can gain millions of followers and make money advertising latest said miracle.

Banana peel is nothing new - you might as well use the youtuber that recommended it as fertilizer.

If you want to grow orchids successfully - it is not hard - there is tons of great advice out there and one of the top things to follow is cleanliness and keeping out rotting things.

Banana peel will rot very quickly - attract fruitflies and other pests and cause more damage than good.

Orchids need a well balanced supply of macro and micro nutrients that is not readily available in soil fertilizers which is why you should use orchid fertilizers or hydroponic fertilizers which provide all nutrients in a water soluble form.
