  • I usually leave mine, but only get a handful each year. My daughter gets hundreds on two small lavender plants so hand removes them.

I had scores of them one year. They will destroy your plant if you have enough of them.
If they weren't so pretty, would you be more inclined to squish them?
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I can honestly say - I've never seen one in the flesh  :)
    I think you're right @B3. They're very eye catching.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

They're beautiful, I was so fascinated by it when I first saw it! But no, even if it was ugly I still wouldn't want to kill it!

Would you kill fleas or clothes moths?

I've never encountered clothes moths but I'd probably just catch them and let them go somewhere else. Fleas, if there's an infestation probably.

I don't doubt I've probably accidently killed ants and other things by stepping on them, and I've stepped on a few snails to my horror!

When I was about 8 I tried to save an injured spider, put it in a jar and gave it some water (thinking it might need a drink), but accidentally drowned it😢 I was in tears😂
