Do you mean the flower stalk, or do you mean it's pushed itself out of the ground? If the latter, just repot and bury it a bit. They do it all the time. Watch out for vine weevils too - they're very susceptible in pots

thanks for your reply Fairygirl, It almost has a trunk like a tree, I thought it was because it was pot bound, but this has happened to garden planted ones also .I will check for Vine weevils as I wasn't aware this could be a problem with Heucera
