Pink flamingo Salic

I moved my Salic recently to give it more room - however it is turning  brown & leaves are brittle & falling off . I have put down chicken manure & trying to water it every day ! Anything else I can do ? Also do they loose there leaves in Autumn?
Thanks

I’ve never had a Salix, there’s some info on the RHS website that may help you, seems they need a lot of water, perhaps yours got a bit dry.

Moving anything at this time of year can be tricky if you live in a drier area, and salixes wouldn't like to get dried out. If it's anything other than a very small specimen, that makes it harder.
They do lose their foliage in autumn. Yours will be shedding foliage to help cope with the stress of being moved.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
