Is it too soon to feed new turf?

Hi all. I had new turf laid at the end of July (21st), and looking around I generally see that I should use lawn feed approximately 6 weeks after, and now it's September I see that an autumn feed is recommended. The problem is that all the autumn feeds I'm looking at say they shouldn't be used on lawns less than 6 months old (one or two say less than 3 months).

Does anyone have any recommendations for whether I should use feed or not, and if so, which one to use?

(Garden is small - approx 8x5m, and is generally looking ok, with a few patches not looking as healthy as they could)

Thanks

Too soon to feed, IMO.  Wait till spring now :)
Just keep it well watered if you don't have very regular rain, and dont cut it too short
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Great, thank you!
  • Agree. I don't advise feeding lawns under 12 months old. They shouldn't need it
