Plant ID

Hi, can anyone identify the plant at the top of the waterfall in the first image and the red/green creeping plant in the second image? Thanks.

Hello djsteve and welcome to the forum. Would it be possible for you to take more 'close up' pictures of the two plants as they are a little indistinct in these ones. That is a gorgeous feature!

The second one could be a type of ricinus perhaps?
    Total guess !

1st pic is copyright of Aquascapes inc.
No idea which country/climate it is.
So I suspect djsteve6 has just seen image on www.
Impossible from above pics to id the plant...even when trimmed as above.

If you live in UK and want a shrub that mimics the look in that pic then I suggest Gaultheria shallon.

    Perthshire. SCOTLAND .
