What Caterpillas are these.

I found 5or 6 of these caterpillas on my Dianthus seed heads there about 1 inch long does anyone know what they are please.

Possibly one of the noctuid moth caterpillars but no idea beyond that sorry.

Tradition is just peer pressure from dead people
