I love it, and so do all the bees/hoverflies, but the slugs annihilate the foliage every year. The foliage is stunning when it first emerges, then becomes a lace doily.
The flowers are more gold than orange - great contrast with the foliage

I have this ligularia slugs do munch on some of the leaves but its not to bad , the foliage on mine is no where near as dark as this more of a dark green at the moment. The flowers are a lot nicer than I thought, I did originally buy it for the foliage though .
It should like this [ both pix taken last year when the slugs left it alone a bit more than usual! ] and the top of the foliage becomes a little greener as time goes on
