Best Varieties/Yields for a Small Space
in Fruit & veg
I thought we could start a thread on what crops best for you in a small space. I'll add some photos of my successes when I get a chance. I have a mixture of containers and a small slug ridden bed and would love any tips. I'm trying to grow through more of the year as one strategy, so have black radishes, chard and round carrots in the old potato pots.

I grow salad leaves in pots/troughs too - mainly as cut and come again, and when they're a bit past it, I plant those out in gaps in the borders while the next lot are growing and taking over. I repeat that a couple of times through the year. I like the red leaved varieties, and they look quite pretty among ornamentals.
