mallow

I have a river at the end of my garden, but two feet below a wall, I should like to plant a mallow next to this river ( the Mimram) but in a large pot. I want it to grow big, for aesthetic reasons..... what’s my best choice, as the roots won’t be near the waters edge, I’d send a photo if I could. Thanks jan

Is this the sort of thing you are after?

Don't know if i'm just being thick, but, I don't really understand the query.

Are you wanting it to screen something, or just be able to see it as a focal point?
Is there a reason you can't put it in your own garden, or is that what you mean?

If not, what room is there to place a pot, do you have permission to do that, and are you sure it won't be swept away with winter rains etc ?

What @Ceres is suggesting would be my first though it anyone wanted a mallow.  :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
