Unhappy Camellia

Hello - my Camellia is really unhappy, lost half it's leaves and what's left are curled and brown edged. I moved house in January (it was unhappy before this) to a south facing garden and it's on the west boundary fence. I have repotted it with ericaceous soil and added some liquid feed. I know it probably got winter damage last year as I didn't wrap it and I haven't pruned it but is there anything else I can do for it now, or is this a lost cause? Many thanks

  • Have you scraped a bit the bare branches to see if it's just dead wood? When I've had excessive leaf drop it had been due to too much sunshine. I would prune any dead wood to tidy the plant and keep it well watered and in a shady spot.
