    Too many pellets. You'll attract the slugs! You would only needĀ  half a dozen. Max

    Agree ... just a very few pellets needed and place them further away from the slugs’ favourite supper ... you don’t want to attract them towards it.Ā

    Four slug pellets are enough around one plant, you’ll just poison the soil/compost,!Ā

    I don’t mind using a few slug pellets in post and tubs but not on the open ground where there’s Ā hedgehogs, frogs and toads feeding at night.Ā
