Seedlings ID

Hi, I have left these 2 seedlings to grow and I originally thought they were the same  (maybe some sort of honeysuckle ?) but they look slightly different now so not sure. Anyway i'm going to pot them up so any suggestions welcome. Hoping for honeysuckle as I have a dead berberis shrub/small tree that is perfect for a climber. Thanks

    2is Himalayan honeysuckle.
Does 1 smell when you rub the leaves?
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • I think they are two different plant species. 1 looks like a common honeysuckle and 2 could be a Himalayan honeysuckle.

I would agree with Guernsey Donkey. Leycesteria formosa the second plant, is quite attractive but it seeds itself around freely so can be a pest. The top one is Lonicera and can ba a rampant climber but has lovely scent.

Another vote for Leycesteria formosa for the second one  :)
