OK . It's an ant.
Thread 4 has been named in honour of the tireless (insomniac) efforts of a horticultural stakhanovite.

Natch. Although I still blame the kids for tag team sleep disturbance. :|

New cc thread. We've had to move out of no 3 for health and safety reasons.

Bonzo dog grump for me.  We were just closing the gates behind the car yesterday when the vet's surgery phoned to say he had an emergency op that would take hours so he couldn't admit Bonzo.   Now postponed to September 2nd.   All very well but he's a dog who loves to run and can't at the mo.  Bit like me and my knee and dancing.  Pair of hop-alongs.

    SOZ!!! That was my fault.
I dug up my post about smashing my fridge magnet, then added a photo of my repair job.

Today is the Friday before a bank holiday. Otherwise known as hell if you work in retail. Today we went up to  Chatsworth farm shop to stock up the freezer. I had just picked out a leg of lamb when they had a power cut. Then the back up generator failed.  The electrician had to be called from the main house. We were told they couldn't weigh anything or operate the tills for an hour or so. The way some people acted, you would have thought they announced the country would be shut for a month.  The staff had to take insults thrown at them by idiots who have no idea that with no power, nothing works.  One woman stood at the door taking a photo of the manager, to post online because she couldn't be served.  We went into Bakewell for  a coffee and a bun and then went back. What the hell is wrong with people?
