Early spring white flowers

Hi.
Apart from the obvious bulbs, can anyone recommend garden plants with white flowers which bloom in late April/ early May?
TIA

Pulmonaria comes in white, as does Dicentra [think it has another name now ] and Solomon's Seal [Polygonatum]
Hellebores and Pasqueflowers come in white too.
Those mostly like some shade  :)

Forgot - there are clematis too if you like those. Check out some of the specialists online - Taylors, Thorncroft and Hawthornes for different varieties
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

There's a nice Japanese quince, Chaenomeles speciosa 'Nivalis' which bears white flowers (before any leaves appear) in early spring if you want something shrubby.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Anemone nemorosa is most often white. There are also white flowered Trilliums.

I should have remembered those @Palustris - I've just ordered a load of them  ;)

Don't forget about little spring flowering plants like saxifrages, arabis  and alpine phlox, which are all great for front of border, sunnier sites.
    Lily of the valley too.
There are also sibirica Irises in white for damp areas, if you have them  :)

Daffodils, apple blossom, allium, tulips, may, snowflake, honesty, camassia.

When they will flower will depend on where you are in the country and the sun position.

    Epimedium youngianum 'Niveum'
Luzula nivea (a bit later but worth a look!)
