Pulmonaria comes in white, as does Dicentra [think it has another name now ] and Solomon's Seal [Polygonatum] Hellebores and Pasqueflowers come in white too. Those mostly like some shade
Forgot - there are clematis too if you like those. Check out some of the specialists online - Taylors, Thorncroft and Hawthornes for different varieties

There's a nice Japanese quince, Chaenomeles speciosa 'Nivalis' which bears white flowers (before any leaves appear) in early spring if you want something shrubby.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
I should have remembered those @Palustris - I've just ordered a load of them
Don't forget about little spring flowering plants like saxifrages, arabis and alpine phlox, which are all great for front of border, sunnier sites. Lily of the valley too. There are also sibirica Irises in white for damp areas, if you have them
