my agapanthus that I grow in pots have flowered really well but the stems are 5’ - 6’ feet tall so flop all over the place, I only feed them in spring. Can you tell me how to stop them growing so tall

Perhaps you have just bought a large variety such as Blue Giant?
I have different varieties, some only 18” tall.
