Some of the lower leaves on my sambuccus look diseased but the new growth is OK. Can i put it down to the scorching weather and ignore it or is there a problem?
The weather probably has something to do with it. Remove the affected leaves, including any which may have fallen on to the ground underneath and around your plant. Warm temperatures followed by heavy rain can cause all sorts of problems for some plants.
