Pear identification

Can anyone ID either of these pear species would really like to know when ripe. The previous owner of the house had these growing any help is much appreciated

    I've only just started growing cordon pears and looks like Ill get my first harvest this year - and mine look at about the same stage as yours.
    I don't know what varieties you have, but harvest of pears is different to other fruits as they are picked before they appear ripe and then ripened off the tree (pears ripen from the inside to the outside, so when the outside looks ripe, the inside is often already rotten)

    The first and third pics look quite similar to my Concorde pears at the moment,  which are a cross between Conference and Comice

    There's been a spammer posting links to some random irrelevant product on ebay all over the forums today.  We've been flagging those posts as spam and the 5th flag makes the post disappear for moderation. I'm guessing @Dovefromabove was the 5th flagger on this one.
