I would also say Hollyhock. I have loads springing up in my garden as there are adult hollyhocks that were there when I moved in. If they are growing where I don't want them I get rid as they can take over somewhat.
I agree with Borderline - it looks like Petasites. One diagnostic is the shape of the base of the leaf where the leaf veins joins the leaf stem, which forms a 'C' shape in Petasites:
In my experience they flower briefly in spring and are then really quite unattractive and can be invasive. I'd get rid and plant something more interesting.
