Natural weed killers

An instagram post today from a fellow pro on the efficacy of vinegar beyond the initial leaf burn that people mistake for a dead weed

  • Thanks for that post @glasgowdan, I was wondering what the effect the vinegar mix would have on the "weeds", we were going to spray a small area of the driveway and monitor the effect before spraying the whole lot.
  • I've just bought a burner for weeds. Amazing. Comes with 8 x cans gas. No weeds and dries the stems out and goes down to the root. Get one.

IMHO Vinegar isn't going to do wonders for any wildlife above , or below ground .
  • I have used a pelargonic acid based weedkiller fairly successfully in the past. This is harmless to wildlife and doesn't damage the soil. It is made from a substance found in Pelargonium leaves.

If a substance is harmless, why does it kill things?
    In London. Keen but lazy.
  • B3 Water kills, but you couldn't live without it
