Suggestions for climbers in partial sun/shade

Hi,

Looking for suggestions for a climber that fits the bill.....
- Partial sun/shade
- Up to 3m high
- Under 1m wide
- hardy & easy to care for
- flowers / roses

To be planted against the front wall of my house.

Trachelospermum has to be worth a look. I have one on a north east fence, it's only been in a year but early signs are encouraging.

Clematis would be my choice everytime

I agree with clematis, there are quite a few that can deal with some shade. I have just bought Madame Julia Correvon which is a group 3 so pruning is easy, just cut it down in early spring to a few inches and it will do all its growing in one season. Clematis can be tied in to fit a narrow space or spread out to fit a wider space.

I have a Trachelospermum Jasminoides, about 10 years old but it would be too bushy for that space.

I grew Clematis Comtesse de Bouchard on a shady wall, group 3, lovely shade of pink.
