In the autumn. I plant mine out when summer bedding is over.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I have never found winter flowering pansies to actually bloom in the winter, usually early Spring for me.
I will be sowing seeds for those at the end of this month.
J.Parkers do some nice ones , I’ve always found their bedding plants to be good and there’s always a 10% discount to be had on the net.

  • Don’t know but mine are still flowering from January! Didn’t have the heart to pull them out so just planted around them and occasionally do a drastic haircut....they just keep going!

I put mine in the garden when I want to plant out summer bedding, they’ll go on for years.  They don’t start growing on and flowering for me here until end of February,  but then I’m always about 3 weeks behind most.
