Can you name these hydrangeas?

I’ve been relabelling some hydrangeas, trying out wax pencils... hopefully the names last! However, I’ve found a few plants where the old labels have worn out, or mysteriously disappeared. Can anyone offer advice on what these are called? Sandra and Bluebird will in there somewhere!

9 pics of Hydrangea in one post is going to get messy /confusing.
Maybe better to post one at a time.

I am totally in awe of your beautiful hydrangeas. Especially No 6. I am not the one to name them but would love to see a photo of your garden where they are situated.  :)

I think number 1 might be "Bluebird", but not 100% certain by any means. "Sandra" is quite a delicate white/pink, so that could be number 7.
Number 6 is lovely,  there is one called "Love" that looks a bit like that ?
  • Thank you for the suggestions so far. I think you’re right on number 6 @AnniD, I have a label on another for ‘love’ though, so possibly a mismatch. I’ll do some comparisons!
@Fran IOM thank you for the kind words. It’s a rather small and crammed garden, with lots of rejigging to do so the hydrangeas (and other plants) don’t over compete. I’m a rather compulsive/impulsive buyer!

Join the club @TheRickster! There are many on the forum who are exactly the same. You only have to read the thread - "Why can't I stop buying plants?".   :D

I was at the National Hydrangea Collection's open day in Derby this afternoon. I'm sure I saw no. 7 in their paniculata collection. Thought it was very beautiful, but I forgot to go back and check what it was!
  • It’s a great place isn’t it! I’ve visited a couple of times then added to my own collection :)

number 7 came with a vanilla fraise, the seller thought they were the same, but this one is definitely different to that.

    Yeah definitely not Vanille Fraise!
