Geranium Psilostemon

Our Geranium Psilostemon is looking healthy, but not a single flower so far.  I'm sure it was flowering long before now in every previous year.  Do Geranium's occasionally have a fallow year?  Could it be something else, or is it just very late in flowering this year?

  • It should have flowered by now. I cut mine back about 10 days ago hoping for a second flush of flowers. Is your soil to rich?

I haven't changed the soil since last year.  All of our other Geraniums have flowered, and that includes ones where the soil has been enriched, and they get fed weekly. Perhaps I should cut back the foliage, but I'm reluctant to do so when we have had no flowers at all yet.
