    Thanks for the tip.  I can see the persicaria resemblance and knowing how that romps away in my garden I will be tearing this out straight away!

    I grew up on a farm
    and as a child i spent a lot of time in the fields after school, hoeing annual weeds out of rows of sugar beet ... I’m quite good at annual weeds of East Anglian arable fields 😂
