This is not a problem, more a conundrum! I was always taught that the Hydrangea colour depended on the soil type so how come these two live quite happily side by side?

not entirely true. Some hydrangeas are naturally pink whatever the soil. Some are blue in acid soil

My white ones stay white and the fancy species will stay true, my old bog standard ones turn blue, the Vanilla Fraise stays pink.
