Anyone recognise this Lidl dahlia?

It was meant to be Colour Spectacle (bright orange with white tips) but is clearly not! Flowers are big, 20cm/8” across, plant 120cm/4ft tall. Here it is in various stages from bud opening to fading bloom:

The above doesn’t ring a bell with any Lidl dahlia tuber fans?! Maybe they have different stock every year... I think I might of found it, tho, this looks very close:

The size is the same. Mine looks a bit pinkier but that is par for the course in my heat. Even tho it wasn't as expected, it’s pretty impressive, so might try and get a few more for next year.

Not all Dahlia tubers/plants will necessarily have a cultivar name.
It could be a cross between several Dahlia's and as such be nameless.
Enjoy it ...it is a wonderful colour.

So it might be a mongrel? Oh well, it’s in good company, Silver Surfer and I am indeed enjoying it!

The Whitteman’s Best looks close enough, so will order some of those as new playmates.
