i dead head it as I go, just to tidy it up, at the end of the season I cut it back to the ground, nice pile of home made compost and it will appear again next Spring. If you’re lucky it will produce a few fertile seeds, but not many and some say it doesn’t produce any at all, I have just a couple of plants from seeds.
