Hydrangea

I planted three hydrangeas in hindsight too close together. Located under a tree in partial shade - two out of three have flowered - two also show light /yellow coloured leaves. Should I move them to another location to give them more space.

Hydrangeas make large plants eventually, they also need a lot of water.
There is no way all three are going to thrive in that space, competing with the tree.
They can cope with some shade.

Yes is the short answer  :)
They'll all suffer very quickly if left in that site. Even one on it's own will struggle because of the competition, as Buttercupdays says.

Many people will say wait till autumn, but if they were mine, I'd do it as soon as poss. They'll only continue to suffer.
Water really thoroughly, prep the new spot - add plenty of well rotted manure if you have it, and water really well afterwards, adding a mulch of bark or good compost. Then keep an eye on them. It's worth giving them a good soak each night for a while to help them along, especially if there isn't any decent regular rainfall where you live  :)

I would leave the middle one as-is, and move the side ones elsewhere.  I would just wait til this heat wave is over.

It'll be fine @Peter553 -  rain on it's way for tomorrow.
Normal service will be resumed  ;)
